Rope-A-Dope
The Obama campaign must read the NY Times. The day before the last Presidential debate, the Times ran a story that explained that McCain's negative ads, which is to say all of his ads, have been backfiring on him. Voters are not responding to his attacks, and they are leaving him in droves while he attacks Obama for his tangential relations with Bill Ayers and Acorn. So what does the Obama campaign do? They bait McCain. "Say it to my face", they challenged McCain. And McCain fell for it. For 90 minutes, McCain went on the attack, and Obama just smiled. Every time McCain went on the attack, Obama knew he was gaining more independent voters, and solidifying his hold on the White House. To coin a phrase, we now know who will win the election November 4th.
